It's been a year since I've written any kind of movie review and honestly I'm hesitant to start again. I've grown comfortable in my non-blogging life. Do I really have time for this? Do I really want to watch all the nominations for Best Makeup? Do I want to put aside The X-Files season 4 for a month to see all these films I'd probably never otherwise watch?
Why the f#@% not?
43 films nominated (Shit!) I've seen 11. Another 5 are available on DVD. Probably 10 or less will be released before Oscar night. The good news is, I've seen most of the big dogs (Avatar, Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, Up, District 9, Star Trek). Also saw a few of the little dogs (Princess and the Frog, Coraline, Julie & Julia, Harry Potter & tHBP, Tansformers: RotF). And it pains my fingers just to type "The Academy Award nominated film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," the worst film I've seen this this year.
